Flying site-specific groups appear below. These are where to coordinate flying plans, retrieve, and so on. With the join links you can join and leave groups according to where you're thinking of flying to reduce clutter. Note also that WhatsApp groups can be muted.

Some site-specific groups aren’t listed because of site sensitivity; for those you’ll need to get someone involved to invite you.

Please take local rules seriously. Many of our sites are at risk if you don’t.


Acutney

Brace
Sign waiver, join the Brace Club, and sign log book in the LZ before flying. Site intro recommended.
P2s must have club-approved observers top and bottom for first 10 flights; use WhatsApp group to connect with them in advance. (Note that a P4, or USHPA instructor or observer, isn't enough; they have to be on the club's list.)

Cape Cod
Sign waiver, join NEPHC, and do not fail to get a site intro before flying.

Ellenville
Private, non-USHPA site. Must sign waiver and pay Tony (day or annual fee) in LZ before flying. Find waiver forms on the porch in back of the white house at the very end of Hang Glider Road, past the LZ, past the end of the pavement, all the way down on the right.
Site intro HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Conditions can be deceptive, unpredictable, and dangerous. Don't be lulled by the green scenery and the country club to the right; dustless dust devils occur in some conditions on launch and in the LZ and have caused accidents, and the air can be surprisingly rough.
USHPA ratings are required. No international ratings.
P2s: Must have P4 mentor on launch. From May 1 to Oct 1 avoid launching after 10 am or before 5 pm.
